Your science,
on an international stage.
Most science programmes keep students within national boundaries. IRSchool puts them in a room with researchers from 38 countries.
You fill in the application, share your scientific background and interests, and if you’re selected, you join India’s official delegation to the International Research School in Yakutia, Russia. Over 10 days, you work in international project teams — taking a research question through hypothesis, data collection, analysis, and a final presentation before the full forum.
The students selected for Team India are chosen for their curiosity, their record in science, and their ability to work across disciplines and cultures.
The International Research School has brought together young scientists from across the world since 2008. Each edition runs as a 10-day residential in Yakutia, Russia. Students from 38+ countries work in fully international teams on express research projects in the natural sciences and humanities. Every delegation presents their work to the entire forum. The Indian delegation comes through Exstemplar.

What’s waiting
at the other end.
The International Research School has been running since 2008, bringing together students from across the world to do real research, together, in 10 days. It was built around a simple idea: the most interesting science happens when people from different countries, disciplines, and backgrounds work on the same problem.
A typical day begins with a session framing the research question, moves into fieldwork or laboratory work in the afternoon, and closes with team check-ins where groups share progress with the wider forum. By day 10, every team has produced a complete research project — from hypothesis through data to conclusions — and presented it to participants from 38+ countries.
